Did you figure it out....? It looks like your did. If not, put this right after the last code thing I gave you:
margin-left: 100px;
You might have the change the number around but yeah :D

Posted by schizo on Sep 10, 07 6:08 pm · History

thank you! its pretty easy. in the .textarea bit or whatever you have you just set the text-align:center; if you understand that??

WOW!!

Ok prepare for a long comment aha =]

No my name isn't really just PP - it's actually Priya. My friend decided to call me PP and I kindah use that as my name now. It's shorter. And easier to pronounce for some ppl =] Even tho I'm a Jain we kindah follow Hinduism too - it's complicated. SO yeah looking fwd to Diwali and Holi and stuff =].

Aha a tube is like the subway. Underground trains. =]

And a ocarina is like a round thing thats like 2 shells making a roundy type thing lol that -plays like a flue :D google it :P I can't really exaplin it very well/ but it's like the easiest instrument to play!! EVER!

Good luck in all your exams!! WOW you have a lot.
Basically I'm in year 10 and so next year in year 11 I'll be sitting my GCSES which I mentioned. So this year I have no major exams except for the internal ones that will decide which foundation I do for my GCSES. But they are towards the end of the year so I'm not freaking about them yet - just my coursework. Which is like pieces of work(essays, writings) that are graded and count with ur end exam grade to give u ur overall total. ur exams seem quite complicated!!

A comprehensive skewl is like a normal skewl and everyone can attend regardless of who they are. A grammer skewl is like where you have 2 pass an exam and be really clever basically to attend (and u can get in thru scolarships and stuff). and a private skewl is where you pay lots of money to have ur kid educated in a smaller skewl with less pupils learning more detailed stuff and its basically thort 2 b more better for education.

Lol I guess the whole drivin thing is the same about England. CONGESTION!!

So whats all this stuff about Freshman, Seniors, Sophmores and stuff? It's pretty weird..Lol
And lol thanks for the bebo invite - I'm on it every day the freak I am =]

I get what you mean about the music stuff. Its the same for me - i seem to like every song with a beat and something to make me sit up and notice.

Anyway if i missed anything out please tell me!! Oh no school 2mo :O:(

Lol btw no I don't got to a private school - I go to a comprehensive one. It's called The Heathland School and if you google UK it I'm sure u'd find it. Uh lol cross ciricular studies! It's like learning about uhh your body, drugs & alcohol, politics - just things about the everyday word. Social stuff really. And community things. I can't believe what you said about the Relgious Ed. thing! Seriously it's like a main subject in our school and when we sit our GCSES (there like these BIG exams you take when your in Year 11 in your chosen subjects..its kindah confuzzling) in our school and some others its compulsory to take it. And most other schools make it an option. But I guess some schools even in England might not allow it but I've never heard of that. in RE (the shortend term) we learn about whats considered to be the 5 main religions: Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism and Sikhism. I follow a religion called Jainism which you probably have never heard of! - What about you ..are you relgious at all?

Other questions along with any above ^^ and the ones you asked me to anwser which i did in the comment below me!

- Do you have Driver Ed in high school? (Again.. I read it:P)
- How is a basic school day divided?
- What's your name. Lol soz I'm stupid enuff to have not to asked!
- In most American schoool movies the school is seperated into Labelled groups / clubs - is that true!
- What kindah breakfast cereals do you eat :D
- What type of Music are you into?
- Lol uh I'm still thinking..I'll get bak 2 you as soon as poss with some more questions! :)

I go back to school on thurs - I'm not looking forward too it lol.

How was your first day back?

Hey!

Wow lets see if I can answer these questions =] - Lol and btw 2 questions - no way, I have tonnes more :P just getting you prepared uhm :) If ya can - answer the questions I'm replying too. Just so I can see what differances there are. It'd be gr8 if ya coould do tht :)

-do stuff get released earlier in england than they do here?
Mostly no. Unless they are made in England. E.g. British music artists. But stuff like Harry Potter, even tho it is British gets released in America first. Which is quite a bummer (but it gets here eventually!)

-do you play an instrument?
Uh not really. I kindah gave up playing one - I like listening to music, but I'm not really into playing music. What about you. When I was in primary school (that's like elementry to you) I played a Ocarina. But no one knows what that is lol!

-how do most people there get to school
Depends where you live. We don't have school buses to pick you up so either we go by car, walking, bus or even tube. My school is pretty central in my area so people either bus it, go by car or walk. I walk with my two mates as it only takes 10-15 minutes max to get there.

-what is that nearby store that everyone knows of and goes to. (like a store to get basically everything, except maybe grocery's) here we have target and walgreens (many others but those are probably the most common).
Hm well in our area it'd be Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Somerfield and Aldi. But it other places in England theres others like Morrisons, and stuff. But I'd say Tesco and Asda are the ones most people know about.

what clothing stores do you shop at?
Oh my I have loads! Ok the main ones are Primark (god I love that shop - everything is so cheap! lol :P) uh New Look, Topshop, Debahnams, Atlantic, River Island and Natural Valley. But I also shop around a lot in other stores.

you have a bebo?! my freind made me make one. but i dont go on it. is that what they use there? here we use myspace and facebook mostly.

Lol yeah I have bebo :) Add me :D. I use it a loooooooooooot. But yeah people here use Facebook nd Myspace alot and also this other one called Hi5. I just like Bebo alot :D. But it kindah depends on the person you are and stuff. But uh Facebook really starting to become common here.

So i hoped that kindah helped!

Lol - I shall bombard you with questions to do with America now =]. We do have malls - just we call them shopping centres or high streets. Aha thats quite odd - everyone says wicked. What about dude..that's quite a word here (well i think it is =]) - it's used by all the cool people. Aka moi. =] (Yeah, I'm pretty modest ;]). I was reading this book the other day by Meg Cabot, and it was like about teens - at school. And its funny how different the subjects are. Here we do: Maths, English, Science, Geography, History, Information Computer Technology , Religious Education, Design Technology (which consists of Food, Textiles, Woodwork and Graphics) Uh Physical Education, Art, Mondern Foriegn Languages (French & German in our school), Cross - Ciricular Studies, Drama and finally Music. Is yours something completly diffoooorent? It seems like it from stories (but its only fictional). :D xx

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!! Well, according to the season 2 previews, Sylar is still alive and I heard from other cBers that Kirsten Bell (from veronica mars!) will be a criminal/villian in heroes! She will be in 13 episodes..AWEESSSSSSSSOOOOOOOO MEEEEEEE

Hey! Sorry I was away practically all august in Japan! Japan was awesomeeeeee, everyone was so polite and nice. The TOILETS! Even the public ones had controls such as butt spray, warm toilet seat, warm water and even a musical button where you press it and a fake flushing noise came XD

Btw Zazzy is a word I picked up somewhere..i think it was in a book. It means ultra - cool. I use it to define probably everything now a days lol

Posted by Wondah-x-Child on Aug 29, 07 3:06 pm · History

lol oh. thank ya :) hopefully i shall b4 skewl starts and i spread it.

when ever i read about malls in books and such they make them out be places with 'food courts' and cinema theatres and bowling alleys and stuff.

But then again they are only fictional stories :D. Its weird hearing about stuff like everyday daily stuff from a real person that lives in America. Ok not only weird but it's totally wicked! I'm probably weirding you out right about now. I get excited of little things. Like these pair of zazzy studs I found (but then I found out they cost £20 - and I had a little over £6 to spend after shopping for school stuff..) *Smiles a cheesy grin*

Lol oo I get it now. - the whole going across states to shop. Its pretty funny. =]
Hehe

Posted by Wondah-x-Child on Aug 29, 07 3:03 pm · History

Lol..I'll try. It's hard when your ill (like i am.)

When I shop I normally go to the crappy high st. (which is kindah like a mall with only shops, and places to eat) but people normally go to these massive shopping centres with cinemas, and over 300 shops and stuff. But normally we wouldnt cross states (or Countys as we would call them) to shop. The furthest I've been shopping is in this place called Blue Water. It is so nice - theres like everything there. =]

And as its inside you can even go in the rain :) woot.

Lol x

Wow - Rhode Island..It sounds like something out of a adventure book lol! Yeah Spain was wicked thanks - I want to go back for longer - 'cause in London its been raining in the middle of summer :S. Which is odd, even by British weatehr standerds lol. Yeah summers nearly over for us lots as well :( Bummer..it went by too fast - I start school on Thursday next week..the 6th. Have fun on the remaining days of ur hols - xx
